Recent Grads: Giving Back to Pave the Way
Your connection to Stanford doesn’t end at graduation. As a recent grad, you have a unique perspective—and an important role to play in ensuring the experiences you had as a student are there for current and future undergrads.
Ways to get involved
Dollars for Doers
Are you a current senior or Class of 2021 to 2024? Support Stanford students and causes in your communities through Dollars for Doers! Thanks to the generosity of alumni challengers, for every hour you volunteer up to 10 hours, you’ll unlock $25 to donate to an area of undergraduate life you care about through The Stanford Fund.
Volunteering

Support what matters to you
Gifts through The Stanford Fund are used in the same year they’re given and are dedicated entirely to the undergrad experience. That makes The Stanford Fund different from any other giving opportunity across the university. Plus, you can pick which area of undergraduate education and student life to support—whatever is most important to you.
Education through scholarships, not loans
Contribute to a more equitable future in Stanford education by supporting need-based financial aid, which benefits nearly half of all undergrads each year.
A place for everyone
Promote justice, belonging, and equity on campus with a gift toward the Centers for Equity, Community, and Leadership.
Memories and traditions
Sustain the campus-wide events and programming that make the Stanford experience fulfilling, unique, and fun.
Innovative curriculum
Enable all three undergraduate schools to expand class offerings and provide additional academic support for students.
A helping hand
Help provide flexible grants for undergraduate students to cover unexpected expenses like emergency travel or registration fees for a conference.
Compassion and care
Increase appointment capacity at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), expand virtual and telephone visits, and improve community outreach.
Connection and belonging
Support the student-led organizations that help undergraduates develop new skills, build connections, and pursue their passions.
All of the above!
Support all of these important initiatives with one gift through The Stanford Fund.
Why I give
Stanford is our home because of its giving, creativity, and boundless opportunity. At Stanford, we cultivated enduring friendships, including our lifelong partnership. The university’s unparalleled world-class resources empowered us to explore our interests and find our life’s work. Stanford irrevocably altered the course of our lives, and the generosity of others shaped our experience. Giving back is not only a reflection of the experience we had but a manifestation of the experience we want to build for future generations of the Stanford family.

See your impact
The importance of giving
Recent graduates are recognized for leadership gifts through The Stanford Fund on a sliding scale based on the number of years since graduation.
The numbers tell the story
Your support provides opportunities and experiences for every undergraduate on campus, year after year.
Why does Stanford need your support?
The majority of gifts to Stanford—and almost 80 percent of endowment funds—are restricted. Funds given for research, for example, cannot be used for financial aid. However, Stanford Fund contributions can be used to address the areas of greatest need or to meet unexpected expenses in undergraduate education.
